I have loved photography since I can remember. Seeing the world through a lens brought new excitement to any "ordinary" event.
In high school, I was the photography editor for the school newspaper and started my career shortly after as a part time writer and photographer for the Miles City Star.
I went to Montana State University and graduated with a degree in Media Art. I worked at a portrait studio and as a free lancer, before deciding to know more. I then went to Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana, where I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience and received a certificate in Photography.
After attending Rocky Mountain School of Photography, I went back to my hometown of Miles City, Montana, and opened a photography studio. I ran it for 5 years, before meeting the love of my life in 2014.
We got married in 2015 and I moved my husband's hometown of Great Falls, Montana, where we have started a family of our own, with our two little girls, a goldendoodle named "Kauii," and a goldfish named "Fred."
I'm hoping to help you record your families most beautiful memories!
Thank you,
Julia "Jules" Bucklin
